Lambswool is wool obtained from a young sheep's first shearing, producing fine, soft fibres with a naturally springy handle. It is warm and breathable and is commonly used for knitwear, coats and other cold-weather garments.

Canvas is a dense, sturdy woven fabric, usually made with a plain-weave construction. It has a firm, relatively flat surface without the diagonal lines characteristic of twill. Depending on its weight, canvas can range from relatively flexible to very rigid and is commonly used for trousers, jackets, bags and other hard-wearing garments and accessories.
