Silk is a natural protein fibre obtained from the cocoons of silkworms. Known for its natural lustre, smooth texture and elegant drape, it combines exceptional strength with a lightweight feel and has long been associated with luxury textiles and craftsmanship.

Seersucker has a permanently puckered surface, often created through alternating areas of tension in the weave. The resulting fabric does not lie completely flat and has a characteristic crinkled appearance.
